At KPIT Cummins we believe that the quality of an organization's processes is reflected in the satisfaction of the customer. That is why we deploy a metrics- driven system for process excellence.

Excellence in delivery processes is a continuous endeavor at KPIT Cummins involving necessary changes in processes, introducing new tools & techniques, and adopting best-practices across the organization.

Through our quarterly process review by the management, we identify process improvement opportunities and corrective & preventive measures. We aim to create complete customer experiences through high quality standards, transparent practices, and exhaustive communication mechanism

Six Sigma

As part of this endeavor we foster a strong six sigma culture within the organization. We have identified Six Sigma as a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology, to take us to the next horizon in process excellence.

Six Sigma program in KPIT Cummins is directly focused on addressing customer issues. Many of our customers have been participating directly with our team in six sigma projects for productivity, quality and cycle time improvements. Most of our middle management staff is trained on six sigma as Green Belts.

ISO 9001:2008

As part of the ISO initiative we have established Quality Management Systems (QMS) called Phoenix, to ensure that consistent quality is delivered. We have been ISO 9001 certified since 1997 and have upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 in 2009.
